Past speaker at the convention in 2012 and 2011 about the his goaltending style and appeared in the Powell Hour last year showing off his short stick skills!
Penn Yan Academy Goalie Coach
Remarkably, Brett started coaching High School level lacrosse with his mother, Patricia in the 90s (fun fact: he was in 7th grade). He helped the team win their first New York State Championship in 1998!

MLL
Rochester Rattlers
Brett was drafted in 2007 by the Rochester Rattlers and wasted no time making an impact in the MLL. In his rookie season Brett was 7-0, primarily used as a second half spark plug, playing on a team comprised of future lacrosse Hall of Fame players and helped his hometown team win their first and only MLL World Championship.
Toronto Nationals
The following season Rochester moved to the majestic city of Toronto, and played at world class BMO stadium. The Toronto Nationals wasted little time and won the MLL World Championship in their first season. Brett sustained an injury in warm-ups prior to the semi-finals, but he persevered and played in the championship game with a broken hand, leading the team to a world championship!
Hamilton Nationals
The next season Toronto relocated yet again, however the mainstay has been Brett in net. Brett is the Nationals franchise leader in every statistical goalie category and led the team back the MLL Finals in 2011.
NLL/BOX LACROSSE:
Boston Blazers/Team USA
Brett played for the Boston Blazers in the NLL as an offensive forward. Other box lacrosse experience includes playing for Team USA at the Bowhunter cup in 2012 with brother Brice.
College:
Herkimer College
Brett was the Junior College National Player of the Year as well as Goaltender of the year and won the National Championship in 2005.
Albany University
Brett excelled at Albany University, earning All-American honors as well as being named first team American East goaltender. Brett helped transform Albany into a national power, reaching the NCAA Quarterfinals his senior season. In his first NCAA division 1 game, Brett ran the length of the field and scored a beautiful dip n' dunk goal on the John Hopkins goaltender.
High School:
Brett graduated from Penn Yan Academy in 2003 as the all time leader in saves, ground balls, save percentage, shutouts, wins, and minutes played for a goaltender. In 2001 along with brother, Brice and father, Harry (head coach) won the New York State Championship. As a 7th grader Brett was an assistant coach for his mother, Patricia's team which won the 1998 New York State Women's Lacrosse Championship. Brett also excelled in football as a wide receiver and was the point guard on the basketball team.
